Highest mountain in North America

In Unites states of America there are several mountain ranges, some of them are listed as Mount Marcus, Mount Mitchell, Mount Load, Mount Fairweather, Mount Sanford. The highest mountain peak is named as "Mount McKinley", located in "North America", It has an elevation of 20,237 feet (6,168 m) above sea level. After mount Everest and Aconcagua it is most prominent mountain.



It is located in state of Alaska. Some people also call it as "Caves of Ice".

The group to climb it first time included Hudson Stuck, Harru Karstem, Robert Tatum and Walter Harper and they did it on June 7,1913.


This mountain is included in "AMERICAN HERITAGE".
